The Curchin Group Introduces Three New Additions to Leadership TeamJanuary 31, 2017

The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, N.J., enters 2017 with three award-winning leaders added to its staff.

In late 2016, Curchin welcomed William C. McNamara, CPA, CCIFP^®; Kevin P. Donovan, CPA, CCIFP^®; and Edward Rigby, CPA, to its Red Bank offices. The additions bolster Curchin’s already impressive reputation as “a mid-sized accounting firm that’s large on experience.”

William C. McNamara, CPA, CCIFP®

McNamara joins Curchin as a partner in the firm, bringing extensive experience in family business accounting and consulting. He is a widely published author in the areas of business management, tax advisory and economics, and previously supervised a staff of 30 professionals. McNamara is a member of the New Jersey Builders Association Hall of Fame, and a recipient of the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey Continuing Service Award. He is a member of the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey Legislative Affairs Committee, and also served a two-year term on the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy.

Kevin P. Donovan, CPA, CCIFP®

Donovan is Curchin’s new senior audit manager. In this role, he oversees audit functions and provides detailed technical reviews of financial statements, policies and procedures. Donovan has managed audit engagements for family-owned construction businesses ranging from $10M to $100M+ in revenues. He is a recipient of the New Jersey Builders Association Associate of the Year Award, a member of the organization’s Associates Hall of Fame, and a recipient of the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey Outstanding Achievement Award.

Edward Rigby, CPA

Joining as senior tax manager, Rigby brings to Curchin’s tax services group a longstanding reputation as a sophisticated strategist, consultant and advisor. Rigby has held tax leadership roles with national accounting firms, and successfully founded and owned a tax consulting firm for 12 years servicing leading privately owned companies in the life sciences, manufacturing and financial services industries. He previously earned an appointed position with the American Institute of CPAs tax committee, and has also served as a corporation and individual tax technical advisor for the New Jersey Society of CPAs.

McNamara, Donovan, and Rigby are all Certified Public Accountants in New Jersey and highly visible members of numerous industry organizations.
