Senior Audit Partner of The Curchin Group Presents Essentials of Community Volunteer Leadership at CAI-NJ Seminar

RED BANK, New Jersey (February 7, 2012) – The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, New Jersey, announced today that David L. Ferullo, CPA, Senior Audit Partner, was one of the speakers in a one-day workshop entitled, "The Essentials of Community Volunteer Leadership," for those who live in and/or work as part of an association-governed community, on February 4, 2012 in Monroe Township, New Jersey. The event was hosted by the New Jersey chapter of Community Associations Institute ("CAI-NJ"), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the education and resources necessary to foster vibrant and effective community associations. Members include community association volunteer leaders ("CAVLs") who govern community associations, community managers, community management firms and business partner members who provide professional services and products to community associations.

Ferullo presented along with Barbara Drummond, CMCA, PCAM of Prime Management, Inc., AAMC, and Kenneth M. Sauter, Esq. of Berman, Sauter, Record & Jardim, P.C., reviewing the following course topics: legal foundation and organization of community associations, problem solving, maintenance, rules creation and enforcement, risk control insurance, finances, board meetings and hiring a professional team. In addition to serving as Curchin's Senior Audit Partner, Ferullo is a past President of CAI-NJ, and has served as a presenter / speaker for many CAI and other community association events.
