The Arc of Monmouth logoLocated in Tinton Falls, NJ, The Arc of Monmouth supports and empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live, work and participate in their communities. “We are very proud and humbled to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of the 12th Annual Curchin Open,” said The Arc of Monmouth’s Director of Development, Jan Connolly. “Your support will make a huge difference in the lives of the 1,600 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by The Arc in Monmouth County.”

breast intentions logoLocated in Middletown, NJ, Breast Intentions was founded in 2007 by two high school teens who witnessed first-hand the struggles of treating breast cancer in their mother and two aunts all within the same year. “Breast Intentions is so honored to have been selected as a beneficiary of the 12th Annual Curchin Open fundraiser this year! Our goal is to provide crisis intervention for women who face financial hardship as they battle breast cancer,” said Erika Rech and Mike Ruane, Founders of Breast Intentions. “Our charity is run entirely by volunteers and all of our donations go to women in need, and our educational program. Through our partnership with the Curchin Group, we will be able to continue our mission and provide assistance ranging from wigs and prosthetics to rent and utility assistance.”

Last year, with the support of over 50 corporate and individual sponsors and dozens of participants, the 11th Annual Curchin Open raised $18,000 for Mary’s Place by the Sea, based in Ocean Grove, and Monmouth County SPCA, based in Eatontown. Since the event started in 2005, the firm has raised more than $155,000 to benefit local charities.
