The Curchin Group Raises $16,500 for Local Charities at 10th Anniversary of Indoor Miniature Golf TournamentJanuary 18, 2016

RED BANK, NJ (January 18, 2016) – The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, N.J., raised $16,500 for two local charities at its 10th Annual Curchin Open Miniature Golf Tournament held on November 10, 2015. Clients, sponsors and friends played a round of miniature golf on a Curchin team-designed, 9-hole course that flowed through the firm’s office space.

Each year, all proceeds from the events go to two locally based nonprofit organizations. This year, Curchin has selected Lunch Break, Inc. and Monmouth Day Care Center, Inc. The goal of Lunch Break is to alleviate hunger and lead those they serve to self-sufficiency and healthier lifestyles. Monmouth Day Care is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating environment for families seeking quality childcare without regard to race, religion, ethnicity or economic status.

“We’re very pleased that on the 10th anniversary of the Curchin Open, we reached our goal of raising $15,000 or more.  These generous contributions will aid two special charities that serve our local community,” said Curchin Group partner Peter Pfister. “We’ve now set the bar even higher for next year!”  Player admission fees, sponsors, and Fantasy Scratch-Off cards all contributed the most successful year yet of the Curchin Open.  Since the event started in 2005, the firm has raised more than $136,500.
