Roy brings extensive forensic accounting experience and expertise to The Curchin Group. As Director of Litigation and Valuation Services, Roy is responsible for managing all of Curchin’s litigation and valuation engagements, from initial contact to final report and/or expert testimony.

Roy has managed numerous matrimonial and commercial litigation cases, as well as business valuations for estate and gift tax compliance, and buy-sell agreements. He also serves as a court-appointed expert, and is admitted to the roster of mediators for economic aspects of family law cases.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Roy is accredited in business valuation, certified in financial forensics, and credentialed as a chartered global management accountant. He is a member of both the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Roy is the former president of the Monmouth/Ocean Chapter of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and former chair of its Litigation Services Group. He is a frequent speaker for the organization on various litigation and valuation topics. In addition, he is a past president of the Estate Planning Council of Central New Jersey. Roy is a graduate of Rutgers University, and teaches a forensic accounting course at Monmouth University.

During the winter, Roy takes his snowboard to the slopes. He also enjoys getting out on his standup paddleboard year-round. During his downtime, Roy can usually be found working on a home improvement project.
