Managing Partner of The Curchin Group Presents Strategies for Credit Unions at NJ DNA Meeting
RED BANK, New Jersey (January 18, 2012) – The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, New Jersey, announced today that Robert C. Fouratt, CPA, Managing Partner, presented a seminar entitled, "Increasing Profitability," to members of the New Jersey Director and Volunteer Networking Alliance ("NJ DNA") on January 11, 2012 in East Windsor, New Jersey. The event was hosted by the New Jersey Credit Union League ("NJCUL"), a trade association formed to facilitate the development and growth of the credit unions in New Jersey; the NJ DNA holds meetings regularly to keep New Jersey credit union directors and volunteers aware of current credit union issues. Fouratt's presentation discussed strategies for credit unions to better compete among larger institutions, focusing on how to: manage growth, diversify by creating new business lines, use effective pricing strategies to reward behavior and invest in technology for delivery systems.
Fouratt leads Curchin's credit union practice, which provides auditing, accounting and consulting to over 35 federally and state chartered credit unions. He has over 25 years of public accounting experience, which includes a focus on working with financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and closely-held small to mid-size businesses.
