The Curchin Group is Now Accepting Entries to Determine Non-Profit Beneficiaries of the 2nd Curchin Cornhole ClassicJanuary 5, 2023
The Curchin Group announced that they are now accepting essay submissions to determine the non-profit beneficiaries of the 2nd Curchin Cornhole Classic, a new, airy outdoor edition of our annual charity event, the Curchin Open.
Recognized non-profit charities located in Monmouth and Ocean Counties are eligible to enter by writing a 250 – 500 word essay detailing the mission of their organization, how the funds will be used for the greater good, and why their organization should be chosen as a beneficiary charity. Local charities can view the essay submission guidelines for more details about the entry process. Essays can be submitted now and will be accepted through Monday, May 1, 2023. The Curchin Group’s partners will select the beneficiaries by May 15, 2023, based on the quality of the essay, the reputation of the organization and the proposed use of Curchin Cornhole Classic proceeds.
Since the event began in 2005, the firm has raised more than $236,000.
The 2nd Curchin Classic event will take place at Pat’s 30 Acres in Wall Township in August 2023 – the date is still yet to be determined. All proceeds from ticket sales and gift auctions will benefit Monmouth & Ocean County based charities selected through the essay submission.
