The Curchin Group Announces Local Charities to Benefit from Eighth Annual Miniature Golf Tournament
RED BANK, N.J. (July 30, 2013) - The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, N.J., announced today the two locally-based nonprofit organizations that will be receiving all proceeds from the firm's 2013 annual indoor miniature golf tournament for charity, Family & Children's Service and the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. This fall will mark the eighth annual fundraiser which will take place indoors at Curchin's Red Bank, N.J. office on November 6, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Player fees are $20.00 per person, which include one round of golf, food and beverages. With the help of more than 5,000 adult volunteers, it provides program activities to more than 12,000 girls between the ages of 5 and 17, teaching them how to become women of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. The council's parent organization, Girl Scouts of the USA was founded in 1912 in Savannah, Ga., by Juliette Gordon Low and was chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1950.
